What HomilyForge processes

The unsigned editor stores studies in your browser. When you sign in, HomilyForge stores your profile, transcript, editable study content, source versions, and usage totals in an owner-scoped Firebase workspace.

Audio transcription

Uploaded audio is sent transiently to Gemini for transcription. HomilyForge does not retain the original audio file. A returned transcript is saved only when you generate or save a study.

AI generation

Your transcript and message labels are sent to OpenAI GPT-5.6 Luna through Vercel AI Gateway. The model is instructed to use only numbered source paragraphs and never add doctrine, verses, stories, or facts. Review every result before teaching or sharing.

Service providers

Firebase supplies authentication and private data storage, Vercel hosts the app and AI Gateway, Upstash coordinates rate limits, Resend handles support email, and Sentry receives errors without replay, performance tracing, feedback, or logs.

Your controls

You can export your studies and versions, delete individual studies, or permanently remove all cloud data and the Firebase identity from the Account view.
